Inspired by her experiences at Cookinfrance guest, Katie Christensen, wrote a poem...

Should you ever get the chance,
Please take a trip to southern France,
Because a week at dear Bombel
Will give you more than I can tell...

So packed with flavours, herbs and spice
The food you cook is just so nice,
With demos and cooking every day
You absorb techniques, then go away
With fresh ideas and a new outlook
On food combos and how to cook.

I dismantled duck and filleted fish,
Made bread and pasta and a dish
With lamb and taboule and, furthermore,
Lemon tarts and ice cream galore!

Although I'd really love to mention
All we did, my main intention
Is to inspire you with the thought:
If you like food you really ought
To spend a week at dear Bombel,
Then you will understand so well
Why I enjoyed this week so much
With the Fisher family's personal touch.
